Best ways to cope with the nausea?
I knew I wouldn't be lucky enough to escape morning sickness especially since I had it with my first. The last 2 days, I've been feeling pretty nauseous in the morning and late afternoon/evening. I haven't gotten sick yet, but I know it's coming soon. I ate crackers early this morning in the hopes of feeling better, but I feel pretty awful right now.
Last time, I tried a bunch of different things, but nothing really worked. Only time eventually made it better. Reglan helped a little, but made me super drowsy. I don't want to take that again, especially since I drive a lot for work.
What worked best for you? If I continue to feel like this, it's going to be tough to function at work.

The only thing that worked a little for me *sometimes* was to chew on some peppermint gum. I've also read that tea is supposed to help. Feel better

Re: Best ways to cope with the nausea?
I've been taking a half of a Unisom and 25mg of B6 every night before I go to bed and I feel great the whole next day! It's been a lifesaver for me!!!

In my first trimester, peppermint and gum helped while I was driving. To prevent it, I ate carbs, like saltines or plain toast.

Ginger gum was my best friend... Always popped in one of those as soon as i felt a little sick... It takes the edge away... Long enough so that you can go grab some type of carb and munch down... I found that if I didnt eat constantly, I would get sick

This! I chew Extra peppermint and literally kept saltines at my bedside and would have a few before I even got out of bed!

Ginger ale helped. And sucking on sour candy! Made me feel so much better!

Re: Best ways to cope with the nausea?
Salty foods helped with my 1st. I lived on McDonalds fries, potato chips, pretzels, PB/Cheddar crackers.
With my 2nd nothing helped except getting sick. Once I got sick I would feel better for a little while. I was supposed to go on meds for nausea but never did.
