Ordered Nursery Furniture!
So after much confusion, and an unsuccessful trip to Behr's, DH and I ended up at BRU and found some beautiful furniture for LO...
It's by Sorelle, the Verona set, only pic I don't have is the nightstand (can't find one)

the nightstand and the conversion kits are special order, and so is the hutch, so you can't use coupons for those...
only thing is the crib is out of stock til early november they said...but since it only takes 7-14 days to come in we're not concerned...they will call us once it's in stock again so we can order..
the Hutch, on the other hand, is brand new to the collection, it's special order, and it can't even be ordered yet until early november...it will take 10-12 weeks special order, so worst case scenario, I might not have the hutch til right when the baby is here, but I don't NEED a hutch for baby to come home you know?
when are you due? im due feb 6th...if you're due later than you're definitely in the clear for it all!!

hmm...that's a good question!! I don't know the answer though because we didn't do that :( It's worth asking!!! I hope they do! Let me know if you find out, cuz we have to wait til Nov to order the crib and hutch so if so, I'll do it then!

Bumping this bc I think this is the set we're goin to order as well. It is gorgeous and seems very well made. Anyone know if you can get the additional savings by opening a cc?

You can use a BRU coupon if the set is not on sale. All nursery furniture is on sale at BRU until 11/23, 20% off.
We ordered ours last Saturday and it was in by Thursday!

it is on sale right now...
and we already got the 2 pieces that aren't special order...the crib and the dresser (the 2 most important pieces IMO)
the nightstand was ordered 4 weeks ago today, it was special order and is still not in but that's OK we're due feb 6
the only thing that's bothering me is that the hutch is not available to purchase yet...
BRU said that the manufacturer said early Nov, then pushed it to mid Nov...well obvi it's Nov 20 and its still not available...AND it's special order...hoping that it comes in by the end of this month, and that it doesn't take the full 10-12 weeks, otherwise Baby will be here before the hutch!!!
again, not the end of world as long as I have crib and dresser ready to go when baby comes, but just annoying to think not everything will be ready!!!!
not sure about the CC thing...I would guess yes, but we don't have one and wouldn't open one so I'm not really sure...
and the dresser is assembled already so I can tell you it's SO NICE!!! the drawers are great, work well, everything was perfect upon receiving it and I just stare at it lol...I love it and can't wait to fill it w/baby clothes!!!!

Love it! I can't wait until thenursery is ready for it to go in there...just finishing all the painting this week...then ordering carpet, so hopefully within a couple of weeks we'll be moving the furniture into the room!

I'm debating but think I'm going to hold off for now bc we may still have to paint and def have to put down new flooring so I'd have the boxes scattered around my house for no reason this early. I'm sure there will be more sales in the future. I wasn't even looking at getting furniture just yet but saw a black Friday deal on a set that I went to check out and wound up falling in love with this set instead lol
I may take advantage of the 20% off on the glider though bc dh is dying for one so that could be an xmas gift

It's lovely. I have the same set for DS at my parent's house (but no curve) & it holds up very well. It's very easy to lower the mattress, etc.
It also held up well to a cat walking over it every day (no scratches).

we ordered the same set from BRU back in Sept. Well, they wouldn't let us ord it b/c the crib was out of stock although they were advertising the sale. now comes Nov & they finally had the crib shipped from Secaucus b/c they had called 2wks ago to say the set was in for us (we were on the waiting list since Sept 4th) and we told them we'd be in that night.....they sold it before we got there b/c the girl said she forgot to put our name on it. Long story short, we went last night b/c it finally came in from NJ and we used the 20% sale they are running now, plus we had the 25% coupon from the trade in event which they extended for us b/c of what happened & then we opened up the BRU cc to get 10% off on top of that. For the crib, & 2 dressers it came to $1011 :)
It is absolutely worth it!! We are way ahead of the game b/c I am not due until May but I loved the set & it was priced well when they had the sales. Its always on Back order so make sure to stay on top of BRU because it took almost 3mos for us.
