I had planned on making it special and actually bought one of those daddy's little caddie onesies before I even took the test (bc i was convinced i was preg)... But the onesie took a little longer to arrive in the mail and i couldnt wait to test so i just tested when DH was home and we found out together... I tried to be sneaky about it but he heard me opening the test box

With my first pregnancy...I took the test at about 5:30 in the morning because that is when I get ready for work. I brought the stick into him, he was still sleeping, and woke him up and showed it to him. He had no idea what he was looking at! We weren't even trying to concieve so it completely surprised him! And the line was DARK instantly!

This pregnancy...we tried...ONCE...lol. SO much for months of having fun trying I POAS while he was at work and sent him a text with the picture....asking...."Does that look like a 2nd line to you?" I probably gave him a heart attack at work!

DH was still sleeping cause he had a job interview and didn't need to rush out of bed. I came screaming through the house. He paniced because he thought the house was on fire or flooding....I guess my screaming didn't sound like a happy scream.

He was at work when I tested. I was in total shock, and couldn't wait till he got home so I could tell him in person. So I told him over the phone. He mentioned at a later time he wished I told him in person... Whoops!

DH was still sleeping (he works in the afternoon) I came slowly to the bed, woke him up gently and asked him to put on his glasses because there was something I needed his opinion on. I handed him the test. He had the biggest smile ever and all he said was, "Congratulations" haha

I always thought I would tell DH in a special and creative way. Well, I took my pregnancy test while he was on his was home from work. I figured it would be another BFN, I would have a good cry and then be OK by the time he got home. I was so tired of cying about BFN's. Well, when I saw it was a BFP....I was just too excited to wait to tell him in a special way. So, I pretty much pounced him when he walked through the door. He knew something was up and I said, "Baby, we're having a baby!!!!" and we hugged and cried for a few minutes. It was really sweet

with my i had taken the test while my hubby was at work....he had just started the CO academy so no phone calls, texts, etc. I had gone grocery shopping after i took the test & bought him a card that said mommy & daddy on the front & when you opened it said & baby make 3. Well, he thought it was a congrats on the academy card & good luck b/c he had worked so hard for it. while i was putting the groceries away, he had finally read the card & came into the kitchen with tears in his eyes & i had the test in my pocket to show him. he was so excited. we literally threw the groceries into the fridge & went to tell our parents :)

With my 1st, I was getting negatives on the HPT so we went to the Dr who told me, DH was in the waiting area and she had come out to tell the reception schedule her for a sono, so Dr ruined that for me

2nd was around valentines day I waited until he got into the shower for work (I had knew I was pg for a week without telling him), peed on a digital, wrapped it in a ziploc, put it in a little valentines basket with chocolates and little gifts, left it outside the bathroom door and ran back to bed, he ate 3 pieces of candy before he realized what was in the baggie

the 3rd we were on vacation, were not trying at all had no reason to think I would be. We went to an amusement park and I was spotting brown so I figured I was getting AF so I put a tampon in, a few hours later I took it out and it was clean I waited another day and still nothing so on a whim I went to target got a test and nearly fainted when it came up + before I even finished peeing. I took a few deep breaths and said ummm babe are you still in the room, he said yes whats up I came out and said uhhhhhh I'm pregnant

DH and I found out together actually. It was about 2 weeks before we got married.

I went to the doctor bc i was convinced i had a UTI and it was causing a ton of pain and i could barely walk. I was in the room all alone the doctor took a urine sample, and i was waiting patiently and she was like, ok we'll i'm gonna set you up with a sonogram today and we'll see how everything's doing with baby. Confused as all hell I was like you must be mistaken i'm not pregnant I get aunt flow every month, you must have the wrong chart. She's been my dr. for years, she was like no It's the right chart, you're 3 months pregnant. So after I almost pass out from shock, We walk to the sonogram room and I pass DH who's playing with my stepdaughter in the waiting room and he gives me a confused look.

I go through the sonogram and she gives me some pictures. I walk out of the room and i have a few tears going, he comes over gives me a hug and asks what's wrong and I hand him the sonogram and i was like.... "Its a peanut...we're having a baby!" he started to tear up.

DH and I had been trying for nine months, and every time we would toast during that time, we would say " maybe baby" and clink glasses. I POAS at night and got a BFP, so came walking into the bedroom with the stick and tears in my eyes and said, "maybe baby"!

The first time, I took the test in the morning, before work. My husband was still sleeping, so I let him sleep (to this day I don't know how I held it in as long as I did). I went to work, then came home (stopping to buy a digital on the way home). My husband teaches voice out of our house, so I was hoping to catch him between lessons so I could tell him. But he had back to back students that day. I took the digital, got another positive, and went out to a rehearsal. When I got home that night, he was making himself dinner. I went upstairs, got the test, and came down and told him to come into the living room because I had something for him. He said he'd be right there and took his merry sweet time finishing getting his food ready. At this point, I was BURSTING! Finally, he came in and sat down. I had the digital test behind my back. I told him to pick a hand, and when he did, I handed it to him. He immediately knew what it was so he wouldn't touch it because he knew I had peed on it . So he goes "Is that real?" So I said "No, it's fake. That's a good joke, right?" And he said "No, I mean, I know it's REAL, I mean, is it, like, right? Like, accurate?" LOL! He was stunned! Then VERY happy after the initial minute or two of shock wore off.

This time around, I had only just come off BCP that month, so we weren't really expecting anything to happen just yet. I also had no idea what my cycles were going to be like, so I had no idea when I ovulated. But I had been having INSANE nausea for a a week or so and kept testing, but kept getting negatives. I took a FRER on CD28 and it was negative, so I pretty much gave up at that point, because I was assuming my cycle would be around 28 days as it always had been. Two nights later, my husband and I were watching a movie after we put our son to bed, and he asked me if I had tested again. I told him not since the other day, bc I figured I would have gotten a positive by that point if I was pregnant. So he said "Well, you haven't gotten your period yet, right? So might as well test again." So I told him as soon as I had to pee again, I would test. About an hour later, I went into the bathroom, POAS, got the faintest 2nd line, came BUSTING out the bathroom door with the test in my hand and yelled "Ummm... we're having another baby!!!!!"

I tested on a Sunday just a random afternoon pee DH was playing Call of Duty and had his headphones on. I walked out of the bathroom and shoved the pee stick in his face. LOL He was in shock and proceeded to play his game for a few seconds then took his headphones off and said let's go get another test to make sure!

I thought I had a UTI but took a test just to make sure, on the ONE night a year DH works overnight. I wound up telling him over the phone. Totally shocked him. I took another test the next night in front of him.

I took the test while dh was home. And he knew I was taking it. So once I saw the line come up I called him to look at it. I wanted to tell him in a cute way but didn't happen that way.

I wish I had a better story, but after two previous chemical pregnancies, I woke him up that morning and all I said was "the test is coming up positive again." We were so cynical that it could stick, but so far, it has!

It was Columbus Day - Dh had off from work, but I didn't. On my way home from work, I just had this feeling to take a test - we hadn't even really been trying, but something in my heart told me to take the test. I got home from work, said hello to DH and went right into the bathroom, without telling him anything. I took the test and within seconds the faintest second line appeared. I came bursting out of the bathroom screaming, "OMG OMG, I'm pregnant!!!!!" and showed the test to DH who said he could barely see it and he didn't think so...I kept yelling, "A LINE IS A LINE, A LINE IS A LINE!" He proceeded to run out the door and went to the drug store and bought more tests. He made me take a total of 6 tests and it wasn't until I took a digital that actually said, "YES +" that he believed it was really true.

It was a few day before easter when I found out I was pregnant. While he was out I set up an easter egg hunt in our apatment and when he came home I gave him an egg with the first clue and Had him do the search.......the last egg was in the oven with the pregnancy test in an easter basket and it said "happy easter daddy!" lol he was so surprised!

I was shocked!!!! Couldnt believe it. My heart was racing and I could not wait! He was out and was going to be out for awhile, so I called him on the phone to tell him!

LOL I wish I told him in person in a special way, but I was BUGGIN' out!!

DH went out to get Boston Market because we were really hungry and I was too lazy to cook...We had been TTC for a year and I was having a lot of issues with spotting (due to endo and a cyst that was removed from my ovary) so I didn't have hopes of getting a BFP that month. I had been throwing up for a few days which I thought was weird so while DH was out, I decided to take a test. For some reason that month I was SO SCARED to test and I just wanted to be alone. Good thing I was because when I got the BFP I started sobbing in the bathroom like a little baby...

I had bought DH a book called "She's having a baby and I am having a meltdown" when we first started TTC but I never told him about it. When DH got home I was like "I have a present for you that I have been holding on to for a long time...and now is the time to give it to you" and I gave him the book with the positive test. He was so shocked but really happy. Then after we hugged and kissed he was like "I am really hungry can I eat my chicken now?"

With my 1st, it;s a long story. I was on the pill for about 10 years, and decided I would come off it after we were married for a year and wanted to start trying. When I stopped the pill though, I wasn't getting my period. I saw my OB every month, who assured me my bloodwork showed my hormones were fine and I was having anovulatory cycles (not ovulating so I wasn't getting my period). I took provera to induce a period and then same thing, back to OB 2 months later since I never got a period. The 3rd or 4th time back to the OB, he was going to do Provera and start me on Clomid. As he was talking to me about taking the meds, etc., the nurse knocks on the door, sticks her head in, and says, your pee turned up a positive pregnancy test! Both my OB and I were like So I had a sono right then and I was already 6 weeks 2 days along without even knowing it before that. So when DH got home from work later that night, we were watching TV and he asked me what the OB suggested at my appt. I handed him the picture of the sono and it actually took him time to realize what it was!

For #2, we took DS to Sesame Street Live and I put a I'm a Big Brother t-shirt on him. When DH helped him take his coat off, at first he was like, you got him more clothes, then he looked at his carefully and it clicked!

For #3, well, let's just say I knew for about a month before telling him! Then one night I just blurted it out and that was that!

I couldn't keep it in so I woke him up and startled him. Then I told him I was pregnant. He smiled, said "really?" and went back to sleep.

First time I poas at like 5am, had a good happy cry in the bathroom and eventually got ready for work and left. Called my OB right away and went in that day to confirm. Then went to the Gap and bought a onesie that said "I love daddy" and made my own card that had a beautiful poem about being a dad on the front and the inside said "we're having a baby!" with a picture I took of the digital test that said pregnant. We went to dinner and between appetizers and the main course I gave him a box with everything and he had tears in his eyes Such a great moment.

For this baby, we were at Dutch Wonderland with DS. It was still too early to test or so I thought, but I was being impatient so I brought tests with me secretly. On our last full day there, I poas when I woke up before them. I got a super faint line so I took a digital which said pregnant. So again, had a good happy cry then took the digital and put DS in a shirt that said big brother (haha I came prepared, wishful thinking!) and asked DS to give the the test to daddy. DH looked at the test and again teared up, hugs, happy times.
