Name dilema.......WWYD?
So we picked Bella as a name for  .
It has absolutely NOTHING to do with Twilight! I have loved the name Isabella since we named DD 4+ years ago, before the Twilight craze started.
We decided on Bella because my kids are Laila and Mason. So they would all have 2 sylables. They would kind of "go" together, but not in a rhymey or starts with the same letter kind of way.
Since we have chosen the name, about 6 people have said "oh, like Bella from Twilight?" It's annoying because now we are second guessing our choice, but I love the name. We had this problem with Laila and that stupid Eric Clapton song. So I can only imagine what would happen with Bella.
WWYD? Would you keep the name?

I would definitely keep the name!
This is why I'm not telling anyone our name choices. There are always opinions and I don't want them. Not the good or the bad opinions lol. I'm just telling people we haven't decided yet. I got too many looks and questions and opinions from people about DC #1's name when I was pg and I was really hormonal and emotional and crying a lot over what people thought or said. When your is here, no one will say anything, they will just call her Bella

Similar thing happened with us. We loved Jacob or Lucas. Every time I mentioned Jacob I heard about twilight. Ultimately we decided Lucas but It had nothing to do with what people said. I say stick with it, if you love it, nothing else matters

Our son's name was inspired by a movie. His name is Leonidas. But, the movie is based on actual history. When I looked into the history of King Leonidas, I love the story of his life and the strength that the name depicted. And the name means "of great strength." Meanwhile, whenever anyone asks what my son's name is and I tell them Leonidas, their answer is oh from 300.
My little guy came early and has done fabulous. In the NICU when I would explain the name, everyone's answer was always well, he is one heck of a strong guy. He is living up to his name everyday.

I would def chose it. First off its so cute and second my DD's name is Hannah and when I was pregnant and would tell people everyone thought I was naming her after Hannah Montana (she was really popular then). and that was DEF not the case. now 3 and 1/2 years later no one would even think twice.

My last name is Cullen. I cant even begin to tell you how many "Are you related to Edward Cullen" s I get a day 
Like i'm related to a fictional vampire.
Choose it! Plus evenutally the hype dies down and she will still have her pretty name

OMG. You must be going nuts! Its amazing how stupid people can truly be. Anywho, to the OP. I think you should def. keep the name. I think its a beautiful name and like dajc23 said, the hype will soon die down and people will stop talking about it.

I love the name Bella, but I wouldn't want to hear all the comments. Eventually I'm sure the comments will die down, once the movies and books aren't so popular anymore. The only thing I would worry about is there being a ton of Isabella or Bella in her classes.
If you really like the name and all this won't bother you, then go for it. Like I said it is a beautiful name!

Honestly I am not into the series, so never would think that.
DD is Leah (Lee-ah), and now that I am pg again I am contemplating Luke for a boy. Even though the Starwars character is princess Leia (Lay-ah) I was worried that it was too close.
