Not sure the nursery will be done in time..

that's ok right? I mean the baby will sleep in our room anyway for a little while..we had a plan to have it done. but I am not sure it will end up panning out before April

I am trying to just accept that not everything will be perfect and the most important thing is that we are happy and healthy and the baby is as well.

Right??

Is everyone going to have a finished nursery by the time te baby arrives?

Don't sweat it! For the first 5 weeks we lived in a 1BR apt so DS didn't have a room at all. And then once we moved to our house it took at least another month for his room to be ready. He slept in a bassinet in our room and it was no big deal.

I'm very much in a similar boat. It's stressful but it won't be the end of the world if it's not done.

We have several rooms that must be finished (as in moving walls, doors, and closets) and hard wood floors to put down throughout most of the house. It's only DH and at times his dad or a friend doing all of the work. Every project seems to be tied to several other projects so we can't just focus on getting the nursery done first. DH says it will be done but sometimes the progress is soooo slow and I hate to nag him to be more productive. I'm trying to trust him that he'll finish and also know in the back of my mind that if it's not, we'll survive.

Hope we both have finished nurseries by April!

My were born just over a month ago and we still don't have their nursery done --it's more like a storage room filled with boxes of all of their stuff right now! They've been in our bedroom and will probably stay there for at least another month or so, so I'm not too worried. I just want their room looking all nice for when we finally have visitors over!

Yeah, its fine. Jack didn't have a crib for over a month.

Don't get me wrong, I freaked out over it but once he arrived and saw that he was perfectly ok with sleeping in a port-a-crib and no curtains and stuff, I was fine. I was too tired to care
