my 1st meltdown.

I blame Cabin Fever and prego hormones.

I thought I felt fine last night,maybe just a little depressed. Had a normal convo with DH which worked its way up to an argument. Then I sreamed, yelled, cried, threw some things around and threatened to leave and never come back.

All the while FIL is sitting downstairs, quiet as a church mouse.

Ive read that our hormones get out of wack but I have not gotten to this level in years! It also doesnt help that DH is just as stubborn as I am.

I took a shower, planning to get the pluck out of the house. Luckily, DH cooled off enuf for the both of us and we went out for dinner. When we got home, we acted like nothing happened.

I'm not telling FIL nothing!

Im 30 weeks today. Has anyone else had it this bad or worse?

It's ok, I am sure that DH will understand and realize that it's your hormones and not you.

Funny thing is DH told me afterwards that he had been warned by people at work not to push my buttons. He just had to do it!

I have had times where I just cry. Mostly it has been lately since I have the injections added to my routine and the fact that I was taken out of work. I can leave the house but I am not allowed to commute which means DH is really the only person I see all day and sometime sit just gets to me


I think a meltdown is normal

I think Dh has been pretty frustrated with me lately ... and I'm pretty frustrated with him --- but I think a lot of it has to do with my hormones and the fact that I was a crazy woman who overanalyzed everything even BEFORE I was pregnant!

Hang in there..and enjoy the "makeup" party!

Oh yes and I'm not even as far as you! I think I was about 12 weeks at the time of my really big meltdown. DH and I are living with my parents until we close on our house. So one Sunday morning Dh woke me up early and I hadn't been sleeping well and I had asked him that if he got up before me to go downstairs to watch tv. He didn't listen. So I went downstairs in a huff b/c he woke me up and I was exhausted. So my dad was nice enough not to turn on the tv even though I didn't ask him not too. My mom comes in and starts screaming at me to go upstairs that she is not putting up with my cr*p and she's watching tv. I told her I never said dad couldnt turn it on, but she kept screaming at me, so I screamed back and then ended up throwing a candle across the room and stormed out. I was like the exorcist, so I know where your coming from!

All I'm thinking now is that if this is pregnancy...no one will want to be near me during menopause!

Oh yeah, you are NOT alone! My temper is out of control when I'm pregnant, and everything bothers me! Sorry to say it doesn't go away after you have the baby too, takes a while.....hormones are a b!tch! lol
