Re: Cravings
I haven't really had too many cravings yet - I'm only 8.5 weeks. I am mostly craving spaghetti. And hot fudge sundaes from McDonald's...which is weird for me because I usually don't like sweets!

Re: Cravings
I had them early like 5 weeks maybe?? For example, i craved meatloaf one day and hadn't had it in years and went and looked up various recipes and got the ingredients and ate like half of it. Then it was subway veggie delites. BUT then it went away for the whole time I had nausea/food aversion so about 8 1/2 to about 14 weeks.
After that I had cravings for things people talked about or I saw them eating. This includes clam bakes, canned chef boyardee, white castle, linguine with white clam sauce, vietnamese sandwiches, pierogies, etc.
The good part is once I eat it once, I'm usually good and don't crave it, sometimes even get sickened by it... so at least the baby is getting variety
The only thing I've craved and am STILL craving because I can't satiate it is lots of different sushi rolls, raw oysters with horseradish, lemon juice & hotsauce, and a nice, spicy bloody mary from legal seafoods.

Re: Cravings
I go thru phases. I hated eggs and loved pineapples in my first tri. 2nd tri i couldnt eat pineapples bc of acid reflux but i eat eggs almost every day. I had a vanilla milk shake phase till i couldnt anymore bc of lactose intolerance. My latest thing is oranges.

Re: Cravings
So I am typically not a sweets person, but lately all I want are choc chip cookies with milk, milk shakes, hot fudge sundaes, banana splits. I could have any of those things for dinner where as I used to need a "real"meal.

Re: Cravings
Started at about 6 or 7 weeks..any baked good I could get my hands on. Dunkin donuts, cookies, cakes, etc.
Then came the cheeseburger craving. I would eat a cheeseburger from Burger Bite in West Hempstead at least 2 to 3x per week for weeks and weeks. Only recently (because one little thing in one burger grossed me out) have I stopped. Around this time, and up until yesterday (when I got grossed out again) I have been making every kind of meatball you can imagine in my crockpot. All I have wanted was lots of red meat..
Now..I am not really craving anything. I guess that is due to the fact that every time I eat I have horrible burning in my chest and throat

Re: Cravings
I have no pregnancy "cravings", but I def crave all the foods I craved pre-pregnancy but wouldn't eat often b/c I was watching my weight, such as pizza, lots of pasta, etc...and now i just indulge. Not so much a craving, but more eating all the things I wanted to eat pre-pregnancy

Re: Cravings
I craved nothing in the first tri. Had zero appetite.
Around 15w I started CRAVING coca-cola. Not soda, not Pepsi...Coca-Cola. Still get those random cravings now at 21w. It's been my only one!

Re: Cravings
Really the only thing I've been craving is fruit - apples, pears, strawberries, orange juice, etc. I just started the 2nd trimester.
Otherwise I just tend to suddenly want things once I see or smell them!

Re: Cravings
In the beginning, I craved Nutella and Orange juice.
Now...I am constantly craving McDonalds Milkshakes! Which would be great, if I wasn't lactose intolerant. Boooo!
