Just got back from my appt at 10 w 3 d
Doc measured and felt around and said everything looked ok.
He tried to hear the hb with the doppler but couldnt find it 
He said it was just too early
I still feel a little off since we couldnt hear it. My 12 week sono is the 28th....im just counting down until then

Could u see the heartbeat? If u couldn't see it or hear it I would ask for another sono this week. Never had a prob hearing or seeing heartbeat from early on. Good luck!

I didnt have a sono..doc just tried to use the doppler
Saw and heard the heartbeat 2 and a half weeks ago during my first sono. Dont have another sono for 2 weeks

I had my 20 week level 2 yesterday followed by my appt with the OB. We saw the baby moving, kicking, and saw and heard the heartbeat LOUD and clear on the sono...
And then when we went downstairs for the OB appt and the doc tried to do the doppler, well, it took forever.
I felt silly laying there with my belly hanging out with DH sitting in the corner and the doc moving the doppler all over. I was tempted to say to the doctor, forget it, I know it's there we just heard it upstairs.
It took him like 10 minutes but he did find it. The baby was moving around like crazy and totally eluding him!
So it could just be that the doc needed to give it more time!

m. Well I know me and I would call the doc and say I can't sleep until u hear the baby lol maybe a mercy sono? Gl!

I agree.
It's very hard to hear the heartbeat with the doppler until about 12 weeks.

No worries! We couldn't hear our baby's heartbeat at 10 weeks either. We did hear it at 12 weeks though!

You made me feel better
Now I Just have to get through the gentic counseling appt we have tonight. I came back in the greay area for Fragile X. Talked everything through with the doc last night and he said there is probably nothing to worry about but its good to have the information.
