Level 2 Question
Were you able to watch the tech do your Level 2?
I was able to watch the whole thing for DS (well, except the parts that could reveal he was a  since we were  ).
I went yesterday for this DC and the tech told me she wasn't allowed to let me see the screen while she did her measurements so I should take a nap for an hour and that I could see when the dr came in at the end of the appointment. I was so disappointed. I was wondering if this was now normal? I'm really glad DH didn't come - he would've been annoyed if he had to sit in a dark room for an hour and wait.
On a good note, everything looks good! I have the baby's sex written down on a picture in an envelope in case we decide we want to find out but, for now we're again.

oh no thats terrible. I watched the whole thing and this time around it was in 3d is was amazing. BUT most importantly everything looks good

Thanks everyone - I was upset. Especially because they didn't even let me take a peek before they started.
The baby wasn't the most cooperative either so it was more like an hour and a half before I got to look. The tech had the personality of a wet noodle too so it made it worse.

That is strange. We watched the entire thing. It felt pretty fast though, maybe the entire sono was 20-30 minutes? I felt like I was in the waiting room longer than I was in the sono room. 1 hour seems pretty long?
I didn't get any good pictures though. The place I go to just gives face shots nothing that shows the body, some kind of policy they have and of course my LO hid her face the entire time  so I have one picture of part of her head and arm!

I had my 16 week and 20 week scans at a high risk perinatal place. For the 16 week one, it was on a separate screen I could watch. With my 20 week level 2, they said the extra screen was broken, so I didn't really have a view. I was able to crane my neck to look here and there, but it was awkward and uncomfortable. And then I checked out and realized I got no soon pics!

I think I may pay to get a 3D sono done since this was the last time I get to see before it was born.

I have no clue... I guess it's there policy. She told me to take a nap. If I had known, I would've brought my iPad or something instead of just lying there staring at the ceiling...

Oh no - they did give me pictures - and an envelope with the sex of the baby (that I asked for in case I want to find out at some point before arrives).
