If you live in suffolk, what home owners insurance do you have?
We have called Geico, and Allstate and they do not surface suffolk county anymore, please help

Travlers. My aunt works for a restoration company. She said when it comes to claims her customers have had the most ease with Travelers, so we went that way.
She said STAY away from State Farm, they nickel and dime ya! They are also a pain when you have to deal with claims. But that's just an opinion!

We have Allstate. I was worried they wouldn't be renewing our policy anymore because of what I heard about them not doing the homeowners ins, but DH said our agent told him since we aren't in a flood area, we are fine. But, maybe it's only for existing customers.

We are in Nassau but we use a State Farm agency in Suffolk. They have been great to work with - it is the one in Centereach.

Check with your local Triple A- we just got our homeowners insurance through them and they were so cheap for really high coverage.

I dont know about current homeowners but my insurance broker just told me All State is not writing homeowner policys anymore for new customers due to the flood/hurricane scare.

We have Allstate also. As I understand it, they're not writing NEW policies, but they are keeping the ones they already have.
