Do you have a silly name...
for the baby?
My 6 year old DD nicknamed the baby "Baby FooFoo" so we are constantly referring to the baby as Foofoo, Foof, etc. It's pretty funny, but nice to have something to call it other then "The Baby."
How about you? Do you have a silly name for the baby?

Aww, that is so sweet. We call my DD Emily who is 6 years old...Mooie. When she was a baby she said Emily "Emooie" so we took the Mooie part and it stuck!

Even before baby looked like a baby at the drs office at 8 or 9 weeks the first movement we saw was a wiggle. So from that day baby has been mr wiggles even though we don't know the gender yet

We call the baby "poppy." The first email we got from babycenter told us that the baby was the size of a poppy seed... so we call her poppy (though we now know it's a girl and it's not very feminine!  )

We have been calling  piglet from about 15 weeks (now 35wks) because her hand was up by her mouth in one of the sono pictures and she looked like a pig. I gave it to my mum and she said "wow it looks like a pig" and it just stuck. Some friends have been offended by the name but I think it's cute  She is also measuring really big.......

originally i called DS#2 Buddha Baby because I started to show very early. Now I call him Tater Tot. We dressed up as Mr. and Mrs. Potato Head for Halloween and my friend re-nicknamed the baby. lol.

I wish. So far its variations of my DH's name "Joe" bc he will be a Jr.
I was calling him peanut before I found out what I was having. My very first sono pic, he looked just like a peanut

before I was pregnant we spoke about the future child as shimasham. when I found out i was having twins, baby a was shim and baby b was sham.
it funny bc now that they are born, everyone wants to know who was shim, because that baby was crazy and the one everyone felt kick

We call the baby "JJ", mainly because Sasha NEEDS to know everyone and everything's name, their mommy and daddy's name, and their grandparents.
We didn't want to tell her the name, because we are not sharing-- but the name starts with a J, so I just blurted it out when she asked.
When I was pregnant with her-- we called her Alien.

Pumpkin... when i was a baby that was my parents nickname for me and the second i got pregnant i said how now i am having my own pumpkin... its funny, friends of mine write to me and always ask how pumpkin is!

before we decided on a name we were calling her Sesame bc thats the size she was when we first saw her. Now we say her name at home when it's just the 2 of us otherwise we just say the baby.
