for those who will have/have 2 under 2....
DC will be about 16 weeks apart. I plan on putting baby in DD's room (keeping nursery as is, minus bedding set) and moving DD to the larger room. I need to buy her new furniture. She'll only be about 16 months so what do you recommend/what did you buy for your older DC? Did you get an entire new nursery? I just don't want to spend a lot of money and she grow out of it right away, but she'll be too young for a toddler bed and I am not sure what other furniture to get.... TIA!

DS1 was 18 months when DS2 was born. We did the same - gave his crib to DS and he got a toddler bed. He did GREAT! We had to stay with him until he fell asleep in the beginning but honestly, other than taking all of his diapers out of his drawer at nap time a few times  he really slept well in the bed.
This is the one we got - cheap, from Amazon. DS2 will go into it shortly so I can use the crib for this baby.
I don't think I spent that much though. There are less expensive ones - this one is $69, comes in a million colors and got great reviews.
