Can we talk shower locations?
Apologize in advance if this has been brought up recently... I'm looking into having my shower at a restaurant somewhere in Nassau... Sit down preferred...Nothing too pricey ($30pp is just too much IMO)... Any ideas?

You can try 7th Street Cafe in Garden City or Paparazzi in Old Westbury.

I just came back from looking with my mom. From what I saw you're not going to get less then $28pp (with punch or wine, etc...). I think we're going to go with Verdi's Whitestone (Queens), its $35 but you get a nice big room and everything included. At the restaurants we saw we were crammed in a private are in the back, I'm having about 50 people.
How many people are you having?
I saw Donovan's (Bayside), Crabtree (Floral Park), Bob's Place (Floral Park) and Verdi's today.

Yeah, I've been looking up some places since I posted this and Im finding mostly $28 and up. I guess that is what is realistic at this point
Not sure how many people... Just really starting to think about it... My bridal shower was around 40 so Im guessing its going to be around the same number... Trying to keep it on the smaller side

I know that Jani ( chinese) locations have packages for under $20 per head, sit down and have an abundance of food.

I'm having mine at Crossroads in Hicksville. They have prices on their website. There are packages for less than $30pp.

I had mine many years ago at the Lucky Duck in Garden City. It very nice. I have no idea of pricing though, but I assume it was reasonable since my mom and sisters didn't complain!

I had mine at Peppercorns in Hicksville. I think it was $25 pp for sit down salad, pasta, dinner and cake. Soda, Wine and punch. They did a great job.

Davenport Press in Mineola is really cute, good food and VERY reasonable. I've been to a number of things there and hosted my MIL's 60th birthday party there as well.

I had my rehearsal dinner there and I know the owner. I dunno if they were having an off night but dinner took like 3 hrs and my dish was terrible- tasted like cheese was rotten. Although I could prob get a deal there, I don't think I'll be back

my mom had my bridal shower at Davenport press in Mineola and she said they were pretty reasonable. I know one of my other friends had her bridal shower at Jonathans in Mineola, but don't know how much they charge.
