Hello...I am back

So today I got a BFP. It was sort of a surprise. We were not preventing pregnancy but I did not think this would happen so fast. My DD is 16 months old. My due date should be in July, which would make them exactly 2 years apart. I am very nervous for them to be so close in age and also sad that DD will not have all of our attention anymore. Please tell me that this will all be ok Chat Icon Thanks so much and I look foward to posting here again.

Are you me? Lol. I am in the same position...DD and new baby will be exactly 24 months apart and this was planned...I just thought it would take longer! I went through an extremely emotional time the first few weeks after we found out...I could not stop crying and felt intense guilt towards DD. it was a really hard time for me...I wanted to be excited but I just couldn't. Fast forward to now (I'm about 13 weeks) and I am sooooo excited! I look around and realize that two years apart is VERY common and there are pros and cons to every age difference. We were never going to wait much longer but the initial shock of it happening so quickly is A LOT to take in. Also remember that your hormones are so wacky right now making you feel everything tenfold.

Wow I feel the same exact way. I wanted them close but did not think it would happen so fast either. I did cry when I found out just because I feel guilty for taking all my time away from DD. I will def keep in touch with you!!:) thank you Chat Icon
