WWYD??

Would you buy this?? We have two on the way (not until June) but we need at least one crib for one of the twins as DS is in his converted toddler bed... but Target has a BOGO 50% off on select cribs... it's a mini crib (and we're tight on space) that converts.

The two cribs would be $260 with tax and delivery.

We'd just need to get two mini crib mattresses...

Would you buy it now given the deal??

Your thoughts... please TIA!

Re: WWYD??

I wouldn't--my DS was always really long, and would have been too long for that at like 1.5 years or less. What's the plan for after the crib? If you'll eventually make room for toddler beds, I'd just get a reg. sized crib.

I bought DS' crib when I was like 20 weeks pg. Everyone thought it was way too early, but I got a great deal on it and we didn't put it together until after he was born (and he came super early, so it's a good thing we had it!).

Twins could very well come a few weeks early, so you could deliver in May.

My BFF has a mini crib for her DS. He is almost 2 and still fits comfortably in it. She said she'll transition him to a toddler bed after he turns 2.

I'm not sure if I'd buy them this far out, but it sounds like a great deal.

I have this exact mini crib. I used it for my DD born in 2008 and now my DS born last year. My DD is very tall for her age and she was fine in this until she turned 2.

I don't have a lot of room and the crib fit perfect. The only issue I had was finding cute bedding for it but I got over it considering how much more space I had.

I say go for it.

Re: WWYD??

I wouldn't
I have a mini crib because when the girls were born they would sleep in one mini crib together in my room.
They are now in their own cribs in their room but I kept the mini crib in my room in case one of them is having a rough night. Whenever i put them in the mini crib it almost looks like they are going to bust out of it. Basically they are 5 months and are totally outgrowing it
