Cramping around 11 wk mark?

I am 11 weeks tomorrow and have been feeling slight cramping all morning. It is almost like twinges of pain in my lower abdomen. It is on both sides.

I am assuming this is normal, but just looking for reassurance from you girls who have BTDT. We saw baby yesterday and everything looked great. I am just a nervous nelly! Anyone else have similar pains around the same time? Thanks

Yes. I was having pains at that time as well. Felt like pulls sometimes. I had to be careful when getting up at times bc of the pulling. As fa as I know, nothing is wrong. I don't get to see doc again for another 2 weeks

Sounds like Round Ligament Pain. Mine started around 12 weeks. Basically, (the way my OB explained it to me) you're uterus is held in place by 2 ligaments that go up and down (head to toe direction) as well as ligaments that go side to side. Around this time is when the uterus is expanding and moving up from your pelvic area. The ligaments are pulling and stretching to accomodate the uterus movement and that's what you're feeling. He said as long as the pain is not severe and it's not accompanied by any bleeding or spotting, it's all totally normal. He advised to drink extra fluids and stay off my feet if the pain was really uncomfortable. I'm 18w 1d and I still feel it occassionally. But for me 12-14 was the most "intense" - so it sounds totally normal for you!

It def feels like a tugging/pulling. Thanks girls! And Coosie- thanks for such a detailed response. It is kind of cool fully understanding what is going on in your body!
