Someone stop me
My mother made me pumpkin bread and I brought in the entire loaf to work today. I'm just sitting here eating it slice after slice  It's 1/2 gone!

I made some over the weekend  THREE LOAVES I would never stop anyone from enjoying pumpkin flavored anything in the fall so you are on your own

omg 3 loaves My mom knows she has to make me my own loaf because I won't share. It's sooo good.

Oh Man ... do you know that is what I am supposed to be making this morning with the girls? They are both home from school!
My recipe makes 3 loaves so I was going to make one loaf to have now, one to freeze, and one into cupcakes with chocolate chips!
Maybe this isn't the greatest idea!

PUMPKIN SPICE BREAD
Ingredients:
- 1 Cup all-purpose flour (plus a little more to prep the pans)
- ½ cup whole-wheat flour
- 1/3 cup sugar
- ¼ cup light or dark brown sugar (I use dark)
- 2 ½ teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 2-3 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- ½- 1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- ½ cup Cinnamon Chips (I use more!)
- ½ cup chopped walnuts
- 2 large eggs
- 1 cup whole milk
- 6 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (15 ounce) can pumpkin puree
- 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger (if using ground, reduce to 1/2 – 1 teaspoon and incorporate with previous dried spices)
PREHEAT Oven to 350 degrees F.
Have loaf pan greased and floured
-Whisk together the flours, sugars, baking power, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg (ginger too if using dried), butterscotch morsels and set aside.
-Beat Eggs, and then add the milk, melted butter, pumpkin and ginger.
- Whisk until well combined.
-Add dry ingredients and fold in nuts (reserve some for sprinkling over the top).
-Divide the batter among 4 pans and sprinkle with reserved nuts.
- Bake about 45 to 50 minutes or until the top is browned and cracked and the smell of pumpkin bread fills your kitchen
I added the cinnamon chips because this bakery by my college used to have AMAZING pumpkin bread with tons of cinnamon chips in it. YUMMM!!!! so goodddd.

I made pumpkin butterscotch Nutella bread last year, someone posted it on this site and it was so good. I'm glad I don't have anymore pumpkins left. I need to stop eatting.
