Can you dye your hair when preggo? What are the rules on this? TIA

I have a huge issue with this. I have so many grey's and I was supposed to dye it the week before I got my BFP. I am super paranoid so I won't do it during the first tri but I'll have to figure something out. There is no way I can go too long like this.

I colored mine at 12weeks and used a no ammonia color.

From what I understand my OB, highlights are ok. But nothing that touches the scalp... Even the ammonia free.

Mine said it was a-ok. He said the dye would have to go through multiple filtering before it even reached baby and still then the baby would filter it too. He said it would be such a small amy if it did reach baby that it wouldn't cause harm. So right after that appt, I dyed my hair and all is well so far. And this was in first tri

I did at 9 weeks - I had so many grays. But you have to ask your doctor and go by what he/she says, every doctor is different and will tell you something different.

My Dr. said it was fine. When I called they said people ask all the time. I went at 29 weeks.

I did it after 12 weeks. Even thought my dr said it's fine, I switched to all natural ingrediants that I got at Whole Foods. It works GREAT! It's called Nutratint

This is my 3rd pregnancy and Ive been coloring my hair from the very start of pregnancy! Never had any issues!
