Hip Pain
I feel like an 80 year old woman! My right hip/groin area is killing me. If I'm just sitting it's fine but when I go to get up the pain is so bad I can't put any weight on it! Is this pregnancy related? Is anyone else experiencing this? I'm 19wk2d.

I didn't feel hip pain that early, I'm 26 weeks today and only have felt it here and there up to this point, but from what I hear, hip pain is definitely pregnancy related...
when my hips do hurt, its not fun...really achey and weak feeling!

I get the same pain if I try to stand up/get up too quickly -it is very painful!! I am 19w3d

I have it- and have had it for maybe 10 weeks (I'm 36w). Its pelvic girdle pain. Its HORRIBLE! When I first started getting it, I googled and self-diagnosed it- which I confirmed a week later with my doc when I explained the symptoms to her. Standing up, especially from bed or the car, is the worst. Turning over in bed, putting pressure on your legs, etc are all painful as hell. Once I'm on my feet for a few min, it seems to get better. I literally feel like an old lady- especially recently, as it has gotten worse these past few weeks. My ob recommended I go see a physical therapist and referred me to one- but I never did it as I didn't want to be paying co-pays multiple times a week for something I felt 'just comes with the pregnancy territory". Of course, def tell your doc about it. Good luck and feel better!

Same here.
It does go away as soon as the baby comes

Ive been getting it as well. Last night i had pain on my outer hip. It was very painful. I slept with up to two pillows between my legs and luckily the pain is gone this morning.

yes it is pregnancy related but please please watch it. I thought I just had sciatia and I ended up in the hospital for 4 days with blood clots.
I am not trying to scare you but I wish someone would have told me that it was a possibility. The Dr told me our blood gets thicker when we are PG.
If you have swelling in one leg, its warm and red call you Dr immediately.
If it is just Sciatia then stretching should help.

I started getting a little hip pain but not until 30 weeks and I only got it after sleeping on one side for too long.
I now put a pillow between my knees and that made such a difference
