Are you breaking out the winter coats this weekend?
It's supposed to be really cold this weekend... is it time to break out the winter coat for DS? I don't remember it ever being this cold, this early!!

Unless it's going to be 32 degrees or less, no.
DD freaks out when I put her winter coat on. She hates winter coats as much as I do.
So no way.

No, but we don't usually wear heavy winter coats unless we are playing in the snow. They don't work well in the carseat for us

We broke them out this week! 
It gets cold standing out there at the bus stop at 8:20 in the morning for 10+ minutes!

Same here. DS has been wearing a fleece for the past few weeks as it gets chillier.
He probably won't spend much time outside this weekend so I doubt I will put his heavy coat on him.

I thought it was just supposed to be low 50's? I will have to double check the temp!
I guess if it was high of 40's I might bust it out. If not, the fleece with his fall jacket over it should be ok. Maybe bust out the hat though.

It's supposed to be in the high 40s on Sat and windy/rainy/etc.

Me too.
I have a thing with myself- (not DD) that I won't put on a winter coat until at least Thanksgiving.
I have a fall jacket - but I haven't even worn that ONCE yet.
I DESPISE bulk. DESPISE it!

nope. even in the winter unless we are going to be outdoors for a long period I put him in a heavy sweater and a puffy vest. hats are a must though if it's cold and rainy like that. or a hood at the very least.

It depends how cold it actually feels out. I have a fall coat for DD that is warm but lighter than her actual winter coat so I think that might be suitable. It depends. If Halloween is really chilly I may break out the winter coat since she will be outside all day. I will play it by ear.

I put them in heavier jackets today. I'll probably switch between these jackets and their puffy vests with a hoodie underneath until it dips below 40.

This. Hes been wearing the fleece that comes inside his 3-in-1 coat so if its really cold then maybe i'll put the shell on without the fleece. But I dont think its going to be so cold that the full 3-in-1 needs to be worn. Or if anything gonna do onesie, sweatshirt, and fall jacket.

I don't have one for DD yet I'll put her in her fall coat--it's pretty warm. And put a sweater on underneath.
