I got a letter from Aetna today saying they are refusing to pay for a Doppler velocimetry, fetal; umbilical artery. I just googled this, but still confused what it is. Does anyone know? I'm hoping my OB can say I had to have it done due to gestational diabetes. I'm going to see him Friday anyway for DS's circumcision and to check on my million stitches, but wanted to see if anyone knew what it was.
