outside photo shoot - suggestions please
anyone have any suggestions on where to go for a photo shoot next weekend
(oct 15)???
my DS is 2 1/2 and i'd like to meet the photographer somewhere nice and possibily with changing leaves...
any thoughts??? nassau county - im in mineola and she is in massapequa park..

There's Brady Park right in Massapequa Park that has the wooded area, as well as a lake and a playground

Duck pond in roslyn, maybe?
Was going to say Teddy Roosevelt beach and park in Oyster Bay, but its the Oyster Festival next weekend.
There's also the planting fields arboretum

We were at the Planting Fields today. There are still flowers in bloom. It is gorgeous but the leaves aren't really changing yet.

We did our engagement pics at Sunken Meadow Park- which was GORGEOUS and our wedding ceremony/pics at Old Westbury Gardens- again, gorgeous there too, so many beautiful backdrops. OWG might have you pay a fee to take pics there, but I am sure you could get around it. If you're looking for something close to the photog, John J Burns Park or Marjorie Post park would work as well.
