Long Island... guess most of us are in the same boat! But we're doing a lot of the local attractions w/ daughter. So far it's been great!

my son thinks anything in a hotel is a vacation. I can go to the uniondale marriott which he passes numerous times and he would say okay I went there for my vacation. Or if he slept over my mothers he woudl say that

Our summer work schedules conflict (he can't take off in July and I can't in August) so we are doing a couple of weekends away...
in July we are going to Tampa to see my mother for her birthday.
In August we are going up to CT with my inlaws and then going to a weekend crop in NJ with one of my friends.
In Sept we are going to Disney World for a week. ALONE
