Because I was on blood thinners, I was scheduled to be induced 5 days after my DD. I did not want this.
I wound up going into labor on my own the morning of my induction and didn't need it.
I did a lot of research because I was scared of a c-section, and it seems like it's mixed. Many women do need a c-section after being induced, but many dont. You dont know how your body will react, and everyone is different.
I hope you're like me and go into labor on your own that day or before!!!!

TY ladies  Just saw doctor and I am 3cm dilated and he is very low...so she scheduled my induction for friday instead of monday. She said since I am already dilated even if I have to be induced it should be easy  I am just so happy the end is in sight 
This is something I found while researching.You should be much better off since you have progress already.Many who need a c-section after induction were not progressed at all!

I had a very positive experience. I was induced on my due date due to high blood pressure. I was given pitocin at 9 am and I delivered dd vaginally at 4:08 pm. I pushed literally 3-4 times and she was here.
They say if you're already progressing on your own (dilated and effaced) the greater the chances of your induction being successful. I was 2 cm and 100% effaced right before the induction.

Just spoke to doctor...my appointment is for 5:30 am on friday...SO happy it is early!!! I am hoping that since I am already 3cm dilated (and maybe more by then) it goes fast

I'm guessing you won't need Cervadil, just pitocin, so that helps! I know how it is just waiting!

With DD #1 - 1 day after due date. With DD #2 - 2 weeks before bc of low fluid. Both times I had easy vaginal deliveries. If you are dilated/ effaced you shouldn't have a problem. The second time, I wasn't effaced and she was really high up, but I still had her after only a few hours after getting Pitocin and got her out in one push.

Aww your so sweet, I will post whenever I go into labor. At this point he feels so low I am afraid he is going to fall out

I was induced at NSUH 5 days late. See my profile for my birth story- it was a great induction, only 3 hours of labor and 20 min.s of pushing!!! And I was only 1cm going in.

Make sure you have a good breakfast before you go. I had a 6am induction and made the mistake of trying to pick something up on the way there. NOTHING was open and I was starved the whole day!!
