still haing a hard time relaxing (long, sorry)

I am almost 20 weeks and I swear my mind is getting the best of me.
I struggled with IF for years and have had 2 m/c on my journey to become a family. I thought the further along in my pregnancy the more I would relax. . . well nope.
On Thursday at work I went to the bathroom and there was a small amount of pink on the TP (I mean small amount). I immediately freaked and called the doctor, I went to see him on Friday and everything was OK (he examined me and found no bleeding, and we listened to the heartbeat on the doppler).
Over the weekend I was doing good until yesterday, DH and I went to the park and walked around for over an hour and then we went to register!! At some point after we left BRU and after dinner I spotted again, there was a little more blood on my pantyliner (more than there was on thursday). There has not been any bleeding since then (I keep running to the bathroom every 1/2 hour). I don't know if I should call the doctor again or wait until Friday for my next appointment. I am not having any cramping.
Needless to say all that is running through my head are bad thoughts. I feel like I jinxed myself by registering.
Thanks for reading.

First of all, take a deep breath. Breathe in, breathe out.

OK, when you went to your doctor on Friday did he give you any insight into the spotting? A lot of girls have spotting through their entire pregnancy. I would definitely call your doctor today to help ease your fears. That is why they are there. Even if it means you have to go back in again today, do it. You will feel better that you did. Just remember, you are not bothering them. They are there for these exact reasons.

And just remember, you did not jinx yourself by registering. Please don't be that hard on yourself.

No he did not give a reason. This is the first time I had spooted since about 8 weeks. I know in the beginning it's normal.

I am also so embarrassed by this but I am not sure if the spotting is coming from bleeding hemorrhoids. I have had this in the past, including during this pregnancy. I keep trying to check, but I find nothing on the TP.
I think I may call the doctor again, I think it is the only way I will calm down.

Oh sweetie, it's probably the hemmorroids. Call your doctor. Trust me. You'll feel tons better.

Have you had sex recently by any chance? I also had a miscarriage and I have been extremely nervous as well.

I had a spotting episode around 10 weeks and freaked out and ended up in the ER for nothing! I was told both in the ER and by my OB that the cervix is very sensitive during pregnancy and sometimes sex or even nothing can make it become irritated which will cause some spotting. I was on pelvic rest when I had spotting so I have no idea why it happened but an exam showed that my cervix was irritated.

My OB gave us the green light to have sex but told me that if I notice spotting up to 24 hours afterwards it's nothing to worry about as long as it's a small amount that I notice when wiping and I have no cramps. So far we've been having sex and nothing but I'm always on the lookout.

I'm 16 weeks tomorrow and I feel the same way as you, I'm having a hard time relaxing too. Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon Chat Icon

Nope, no sex either - unfortunately for DH Chat Icon
I have been having a lot of sex dreams, waking up in the middle of an O Chat Icon and I did a lot of walking yesterday.
I am going to call my doc and see if he can squeeze me in tonight.

Thanks ladies. I know I am overreacting, but after everything we have been through it is so hard not to sometimes.
