My Gym- West babylon- Cost??
Has anyone ever taken a class at My Gym in West Babylon? Can you give me an idea of the cost?
Also- are they really strict with the age group limits? DD would be 17months when we start- which would put her in the 12-18m group, but I feel like there's such a HUGE difference between most 12/13m olds and 17/18m olds. The next category is 19-24m so that one may be better.
Maybe they would letme try both classes before enrolling in one?

If I recall correctly...
There is a $50 one time registration fee.
Then (I think) the cost of the classes are $190 for the 45-min class and $200 for the one-hour class. I can't recall how many weeks each session is, maybe 8 or 10 weeks. They will pro-rate if you join mid-session though.
Also, they are very flexible with which class you go to. If you find that your child needs to move up an age group (or down), it's not an issue.
Also, if you miss a class, they let you make it up another day.
They also have free-play sessions that you can go to if you are a member. If you take advantage of these weekly free-play sessions in addition to your regular scheduled class, you get more for your money.
We had a lot of fun when we took DS there. We started when he was about 15 mos.
The girls that work there are very good with the kids too.
ETA: As for the age range, the 12-18 mos are mostly early walkers or assisted walkers. The next class up, the kids start to run around more. So it depends on your childs ability, and your comfort level.

I have a groupon about the expire (the 29th of Aug) it's for three free classes but it's at the one in Sayville. Don't know if you'd be willing to travel that far....if so its yours!

We love My Gym! My girls have both been enrolled in many sessions there. Tommy is great and the girls that work for him are very personable & very good with children.
