Hilary Duff Is PREGNANT!!!!!
Happy anniversary ... and congratulations!
Hilary Duff and husband Mike Comrie, 30, who are celebrating their first wedding anniversary this weekend, are expecting their first child, the singer-actress announced on her official website.
In the post, Duff, 23, reflected on her marriage– she and Comrie wed on Aug. 14 2010 – and then made her big announcement.
"We also want to share the exciting news that… BABY MAKES THREE," she wrote. "We are extremely happy and ready to start this new chapter of our lives."

I'm sorry, but 23? I just don't see this being a good thing...
I can't help but wonder if she was just a regular girl would everyone be so excited about her being married so young and now having a child...

If I hadn't heard about her wedding last year, I would have been just as confused.
I think it is a definite lifestyle difference. She has had a career since she was a kid. When I was 23, I was with DH, but our families would have flipped if I was pregnant. I was in my 1st apt, a rental with a friend , was working full time at an entry level job & barely had 2 pennies to rub together.

23 isn't so young! At 23 I was already at my current job and already with my DH -- something tells me they dont have to wait until they are financially stable to have a baby which was the only reason we waited to get married and start our family

nowadays 23 does seem young, but about 30 years ago that was the norm for women to be pregnant. She has already had a successful career, SEEMS very mature, is a married woman, so good for her! I wish them all the best!

Congrats to them! I always think of her as older than 23. He is the heir to an oil company or something like that, and a hockey player so i am sure they both have their assets well protected.

I dont think its too young to be preggo......I was married at 23. I don't have children by choice but don't really see it as a big deal.

I was married at 20!!!! And "trying" for baby by the age of 22, preggo at 23 and had my son at 24! I don't think age has anything to do with it!

To clarify my "I feel old" post I feel old because in my head she's still 16. For ME 23 would have been too young to have a baby because I wasn't ready at that age. But to each their own. My cousin had her first baby at 23 and couldn't be happier!

I think 22 is young to be married and 23 is young to be a pregnant but I don't think think of her as the norm.
She grew up differently. She actually seems like she has a good head on her shoulders. I hope all works out for her.

I just think regardless of her financial situation (which, yes, will most definitely help) she's kind of young to have a kid.
She's led a grown up life for MOST of her life. She's held a career during a part of her life where most of us got to be kids.
I just think she's on this crash course, rush to adulthood path and I feel badly for her.
She's only 23 years old, go out, have fun, travel. LIVE a little before you weighed down with the responsibility of having a kid.

Yeah with her money she can afford nannys and help with everything. Not to mention personal trainers to get her back in shape.
She can still go out, travel and have tons of fun.
I would have a bunch of kids too if I was in that position.
