I don't even know what to say. I read that and cried. I just can't imagine. I'm speechless, really. I pray for that family and that dear baby girl - that she is in Heaven being held by the Lord. I don't understand how anybody could ever do that to a child - no matter HOW annoying a baby is. There are times when DD is frustrating, but I could never ever touch her in anger. That horrifies me that somebody so "qualified" would be so incredibly evil.

I have no words.  So, so, so horrible. That poor little girl. I cannot believe that anyone would treat a child that way. My heart is so broken for those poor parents.

I am so incredibly incredibly sorry for their loss. How anyone could harm a child like that and then leave them is beyond my imagination. I am so sorry.

That poor little girl :( I am so sad this happened to her and her family. May she rest in peace and may her family & friends find peace somehow as well. This is heartbreaking & I'm in tears. The thought alone of losing one of my children is completely & utterly sickening. I pray she didn't suffer, I can't f'n believe that pos didn't call the cops for 2 hours... she may have lived! <3

What a horrific story. That poor child! I am so sorry!
There should be some kind of special punishment for people who do things like that to children. Prison sentence shouldn't cut it: I vote for torture to the point of disfigurement!

This story keeps bothering me, I only read it this morning
It may sound stupid but I didn't even realize 2yr olds could still die from shaken baby syndrome
and the fact that the babysitter had a good background check
