Ectopic pregnancy
Hi girls, just wanted to share my story and let all of you know you should ALWAYS listen to your body!!!
June 6th & 7th - B2B IUI
June 15th- AF
Dr could not believe I got is so quick. I have PCOS and also bc of injectables he said AF should of taken longer
June 17th-Dr appt, said my ovaries were enlarged due to meds, wait a full cycle to rest my body.
June 28th- Woke up with spotting. Dry old, dark blood...I thought it was left over. lasted a couple of hours.
Junje 29th, 30th and July 1st I had a horrible back pain, was throwing up, and thought I was constipated. Pain worsened Sat, I got sick after eating breakfast and was doubled over in pain... ONLY my right side was hurting!
Went to NSUH, was gave blood and urine. Nurse came back test was positive. i KNEW FROM THAT MOMENT ON IT Was ectopic. 2hours later, I was in surgery where they a blood clot on the end of my tube, which exploded and I was bleeding internally. They also removed my right tube
I am devastated, and I know everyone is trying to be positive for me But it is so depressing. Why me? Why me? why me?
My beta was only 288 so which means I was very early.... I wasnt told how far along. I have a doctors appt this week.
Well girls, I wanted to share this bc maybe if I went to ER ealier, they could of saved my tube.....
so listen to your body!

i'm so sorry you had to go through that. i wrote a VERY similar post last year when i went through my ectopic. our stories are very very similar and i ended up losing my right tube as well (it was THIS weekend last year). i know it's a hard terrible thing to go through and i'm so sorry. what helped me is focusing on the fact that i was alive and well and despite losing my tube, the doctor's saved my life. if you have any questions or want to talk, please FM me

i am so sorry you had to go through that. i also know your story too well. i happened to have a beta earlier than you only because i was starting a new medicated cycle and they always run a beta before you start meds again and they were able to catch it. i still lost my tube though. i know how devastating the whole thing is.
i just wanted to let you know that there is still SO much hope, so please don't think this will hold you back. i am 18 weeks pregnant from only one tube, and i ovulated from the side with no tube. keep up hope. it will happen for you!!

I've been there and although my story is a little different, I, too, suffered an ectopic and lost my right tube. I was 9 weeks and was bleeding internally too.
I read somewhere once that one in eleven ectopic pregnancies result in death (not sure if this is a worldwide statistic or what). Glad you're okay. Sorry you had to go through this.

I am so sorry. I had almost the exact same thing happen to me, two years ago. It was seriously the scariest thing I'd ever gone through. Take care of yourself, things will get better!
