Nursing Tank Question

So I just bought a nursing tank to wear in the hospital and I just thought of something. If you have a c section wont these tanks irritate the incision? Or would you just fold it up?

Re: Nursing Tank Question

It shouldn't -- your c/s incision is very low -- just about your pelvis. All I wore in the hospital were nursing tanks, they were quite comfortable.

Re: Nursing Tank Question

i have 3 nursing tanks that i have packed & to be honest, if i do have a c-section & it irritates it, i'll just roll them up, but i'm sure it will be fine.

Re: Nursing Tank Question

Are you wearing the nursing tank under a hospital gown? or Bathrobe? What will you wear on the bottom?

I am having a c-section and bought some tanks, but then thought, what about bottoms?

Re: Nursing Tank Question

the incision is way lower than where the tank hits at the bottom. if it does end up being a problem, just roll it up.

Get some really stretchy yoga pants -- maybe a size bigger than you normally would. The waistband will be higher than the incision and doesn't irritate it at all.

Re: Nursing Tank Question

I LIVED in nursing cami's/tanks after my c-section with DD, wore them all the time for the first 6 weeks. Loved them, just bought some more from Target for this c-section too.
