Has anyone been to the French Riviera?
I am looking into a trip there. Has anyone been? Which places did you visit? How long did you go for? Any places a must? any hotel recs? TIA

I studied abroad there for a month in college. I didn't really go out for meals and such because i was with a host family but it was a terrific destination! You can go to Monaco for the day. Also check out a little village called Eze. Very pretty.

We were there but it was on a cruise, so we didn't stay anywhere. We went to nice, saw the steps, and then monaco. It was beautiful! My favorite vacation!

We did a trip to the french riviera and northern italy a few years ago. we spent the first 3 nights in Nice, where we stayed at the Le Meridian. During our time there we did day trips to Monaco and Eze. After that we went to Santa Margerita Ligure and Cinque Terre.
Our total trip was 8 nights.

I'm not a big fan of France...I prefer other European countries. BUT if you have your heart set on France then the riviera is nice. Monaco is very cool. Eze is charming. Nice was ehhh. I've heard St. Tropez is awesome...but never made it there. HTH

we went there as a part of our honeymoon. Gorgeous! Did not like Nice though. Too many drunk Russians ( i am russian myself, so that was even more disgusting). Cannes were very nice. Loved Eze! such a beauty! Def take a day to go to Monaco.
