I really wanted to do it for as long as I could. I lasted 6 mths with DS. He stopped BFing at 2 mths and then I pumped to keep him going until 6 mths. With DD, I wanted to do it for as long as my body woudl allow. Unfortunately, that was only until she turned 6 mths. I just could not keep up with the demand and work stress caused a rapid decrease. Its been 3 weeks since I have weened her.....my heart breaks because I wanted more time.

aw!!  6months is a great amount of time! you deserve  !! bf'ing is so difficult, i give so much credit to those people who pumped and bf'ed while working! i know i would have never lasted this long if i had been working. please don't be upset, you gave both of your DC 6months of amazing breastmilk! more for you!
