Re: photo cards - can you write on them
It depends if you get a glossy or matte finish. Matte is fine to write on. And usually the back or inside of a glossy card is not glossy.
ETA: I usually order from Shutterfly- they have a great selection. And I usually order folded cards so I can write on the inside. Or if I get one-sided I write on the back.

Re: photo cards - can you write on them
do you ladies think it would look weird with a photo on the front WITH handwriting? i would rather write on the back but i think the back always has photo paper 'marks' on it...like kodak, etc.

Re: photo cards - can you write on them
No that is hoe I did my DS christening thank yous.
I put thank you for sharing my special day left a huge space Love. XXX
Then in the space I wrote something to everyone.
I like getting thank yous that are still handwritten but I do want a picture. It is annoying to write all out and time consuming but it is nice. JMO

Re: photo cards - can you write on them
I got mine from vista print. I had a photo on the front and that is where I wrote my thank you but i had b/w pics on the back. I did cardstock
I was very happy with it. It wasnt too bad pricewise depends what you pick
I have used shutterfly for my xmas cards and I do write on them I get matte and use the sharpie
I have also gotten glossy from walgreens and again used sharpie

Re: photo cards - can you write on them
You can order cards on cardstock. It's like a greeting card and you can write on it but it's more $$$
I will do that for our TY cards.

Re: photo cards - can you write on them
i think most of the photo sites online offer the "linen" texture so that you can write on them...

Re: photo cards - can you write on them
I bought those sticker mailing labels. I got the full sheet type and write on that cut it to size and stick it on the back. This way the pen doesnt make dents in the picture. I did that for ds christening ty an now for his 1st bday thank yous.
