Did anyone else buy a home in 2008
And get the $7500 tax credit that needs to be paid back starting in 2010? If so, have you received your federal refund yet?
Its been almost 3 months since we filed, and I just found out that they are having "problems" with some of these refunds due to some sort of glitch (who knows what the real story is), and it could be months before we get our refund checks. Is anyone else still waiting for theirs, or have info on it?

We closed in June 2008. We filed at the end of February and got our refund about 3 weeks later.

We closed but we owed a ton of money this year - and they didn't have any problem cashing our check!!!!
sorry, not helpful but at least appreciate that you are getting a refund, even if it is delayed

We just got our refund last week, we filed in February. it's really annoying.
