How long for grass to grow?

On Tuesday we had our backyard leveled, and grass seed put down. We are supposed to be hosting Fathers Day, will we have grass by then?? Thanks!

Re: How long for grass to grow?

Grass should take about 2-3 weeks to sprout but honestly it will not be strong enough that you would want to walk all over it, kwim? Such as a party. Yes, you should see green but too many people walking on it in the early stages won't be good for it.

We're getting estimates for this now, can you share who you used and how much you paid? You can FM me if you prefer.

TIA!

This.

And another word of advice, make sure you're watering it like CRAZY!
