I am LIVID

We live in a planned community. In December the homeowners association removed a tree from my front yard as it was hitting my house. They left the stump because the ground was frozen. I called once in February and once in April asking when they would remove the stump. In front of where the tree stood and to its side (next to my house) were three foot tall purple flowering bushes.

I came home today to find all 4 bushes removed - leaving all the water pipes, cable, and other stuff completely exposed. In place of the 3 foot tall bushes they put in 10 inch dead looking plants. I called the homeowners company and just gave them a piece of my mind. They are calling for the mark out. Removed the 4 disgusting bushes. Now I have a 10 foot area in front of my house with nothing. What do I do. My house is on the market. I plan on calling every hour to get status updates. But we were supposed to have an open house which I now have to cancel. My front yard looks gross. I am so angry. We have someone coming this weekend to look at the house.

Do you have pictures of what the front yard looked like before everything was removed? Maybe you can show those to potential buyers or at the open house so they know it's being worked on and will be filled in soon.

We sold our house this past winter with all that snow and I always left out pictures showing what the yard looked like in the summer. Everyone commented that that was a great idea. Because the yard seemed to always be covered in snowChat Icon .

Good Luck...hopefully it's cleard up sooner than laterChat Icon

Re: I am LIVID

Update: They are supposed to bring new mature plants in Monday. The mark out company will be here between Monday-Thursday, the gardeners will bring a stump grinder next Friday, and all should be right by then. I told the realtor that called for the appointment just now what is going on and he said that he would let the prospective buyers know. I will call on Monday to see what kind of progress is being made.

My stomach hurts so much from this it is not even funny. I am so upset but trying to calm down.
