In honor of Friday the 13th...
Are you superstitious? Which superstitions do you believe in? Any good superstition stories?
I'm not superstitious at all.
ETA: Now that I'm reading the responses... All of the important dates in my family and for DH (birthdays, days of death, weddings, etc.) add up to a number divisible by 3 or with 3 in it. I don't avoid other numbers or anything, but it is something that I notice.

I am always knocking on wood (even paper) when I say or think something bad.. I feel like the 1 time I don't.. the thing will happen. Stupid I know, but I can't stop now!
No umbrellas can be open in the house or office either.

I wasn't supersticious until I broke my neck on Friday the 13th! Now I try to lay low on those days...

I like the #13. It was our bungalow number on our honeymoon in bora bora, I don't know why I remember that.
Today friday the 13th is lucky for me, we actually had a raffle at work and out of a lot of people and just a few prizes I won something!

This will sound strange but I worry a little bit when I see a black cat cross my path. Cause it's so random, but it definitely happens.
And I'll pick up a penny only if it's heads up lol.
And I don't walk under ladders, but that's more of a safety thing lol.

I'm not too superstitious. I will do the "Knock on wood" thing and avoid walking under ladders. But I don't freak out about it. 13 is my fav. number...mostly b/c it's my Birthday (which is today ) but also because I think of it as my lucky number b/c it goes against what most feel it represents. I guess I feel like if I think of it as my lucky number, it will work in my favor.
Ok, that makes me sound way more superstitious than I am.

I am not REALLY superstitious but I demanded DH not drive his ****** rocket to work today so I dont have a reason to be superstitious!
I wont walk under ladders and always pick up a heads up penny!

Not remotely. Sometimes I'll knock on wood, but not usually and I never take it seriously. I always leave my umbrella open in the hallway to dry. I've usually had pretty good luck on Friday the 13th (which was evidenced by the fact that the plane tickets I've been watching just went down in price and so I booked them! Jamaica here we come!  ). I've had two black cats and they've crossed my path many, many times. I don't walk under ladders, but that's definitely a safety thing.

Believe it or not I've always loved Friday the 13th and 13 has been my lucky number since I was a little girl. When I was pregnant with my first child my due date was Friday, April 13th. I ended up going into labor the night of the 12th and my DS was actually born on his due date - Friday, April 13th. So 13 is a very lucky number for me!
