When you're gardening - ?
How do you position yourself? I always get dirty, as I assume one would, but does anyone use one of those knee pad little alter things -- it's something you kneel on when gardening? Or do you just put on old clothes and forget about it?

i use a cushion especially when i do my driveway beds. i either sit on my bum or kneel depending on what i'm doing and which direction i'm facing (don't want my a*s up in the air or in my neighbors window lol)

I have a 'gardening seat' LOL. Looks silly, but it's the greatest $20 I have EVER spent!! The only thing that gets dirty in my hands, b/c i refuse to wear gloves LOL
They sell them at CVS...where I got mine, but here it is on Amazon

My gardening outfit is always the same. A pair of old jeans with paint stains all over them and a Columbia exercise shirt that keeps me cool in the sun. I also have a visor that keeps the sun out of my eyes and old ugly gardening sneakers. I'm a sight alright. 
I used to care about getting dirty but I shower immediately after I come in, why bother? I do use the kneeling pads, I have four of them but I reposition myself constantly to make sure I don't strain myself in one position for long.
I bought one of those garden carts a while back but honestly, I don't use it. I don't have the kind of garden beds that would make it convenient. I tried a seat but I find I can reach better when I'm kneeling on the ground.

I don't worry about dirt and shower immediately b/c I can get poison ivy quite easily.
I have this:
you kneel when it's one way and can sit the other way
