1/2 Bath-We are adding one
its going to be small and perfect for the location its in.
We will tile and possibily do wainscotting and the top is to be painted.
what colors would you stick with, esp with a small area?
I am always stuck in the neutral tones or light blue (upstairs full bath has).
Wouldnt mind being diff.
DH is doing all the work. I will post before and after pics.

I would stick with lighter-toned colors (not necessarily neutrals) given that powder rooms/half baths are usually small.
Our half bath has a black and white tiled floor, white wainscoting, and the top half of the walls is painted a greyish/lavender/smoky color.
I also like a light blue or blue/grey (wedgewood blue?) with white wainscoting, or maybe a sage green (if you are sick of blue)?
It sounds really nice! It's great to have a half bath for guests to use -- it's easy to keep clean, uncluttered, and guest-ready!

We did a light blue and white wainscotting...carerra marble tile on the floor..I completely forgot which BM blue we used for the pain

I have a super small half bath in our entryway. White toilet and pedestal sink with beautiful crown detail (done by previous owner), with a black and white floor......and we painted it a very bold red. Looks pretty awesome, if I do say so myself!

Where are you putting it? I think we have a similar layout.
ETA - skew has a small bath and did chocolate brown with cream wainscoting and it looks great.

we have a small 1/2 bath with white pedestal sink and toilet. We did a chocolate brown with like a sea mist color for accents.

We did white wainscoting and a light sage green on the upper walls. Travertine marble floor in like a tan color.

I've actually seen tiny bathrooms painted a dark or intense color and look beautiful!
Sounds crazy-but black or navy blue are my faves:>

We have one. The walls are a light blue w/large beige tiles on the floor & a pedestal sink. Of course there is a potty.

You could do Navy, if you like blue, but are tired of light blue. I love Navy & white together.
I also like a really bright turquoise in a bathroom.
