Problems with Dyson Vacuum
We have had our Dyson Animal (purple one) for almost 5 years and haven't really used it much....when we do use it....a loud cranking noise sporadically occurs while vacuuming. It almost sounds as if a nail got caught in the gears or something.
Has anyone else experienced this?

Sounds like the safety mechanism...it happened to me too. I called Dyson customer service and they helped me fix it
