How long until closing?
I'll try to make this brief - Just went to contract on selling my co-op typically it takes 3 months from the signing of the contracts until the board's approval of the buyer (which I'm 99 percent sure he'll be approved!)
My question is, with houses, how long does it take to close from the time you sign the contracts?
We just started looking and I'm just not sure if we find a house we love, if we should put an offer in. I don't really want to be paying two mortgages, so if you could let me know how long it took you to close from the time you signed contracts, that would be so helpful!

We signed contracts at the end of March, closed april 18 last year. We (the sellers and us) were ready and wanted it quicker.

When we bought our house in 2008 we signed 9/15 and closed 11/20
