What do you do with your candles when they're done?
I just started putting mine in the recycling bin and they're taking them.
Is that where they're supposed to go? Is this a stupid question?

You mean the glass containers? I would assume if it's clean it can go with glass.

Well its never entirely clean, thats why I always hesitated in recycling them. Theres the wax at the bottom that you can't burn because the wicks are too short...and im not gonna sit there and chisel it out...hence my question!

I have the same question, I never even thought to post about it. Glad i'm not the only one that does this --> and throws it in the recycle bin!

I have on of those tart burners and I scrape out the candles and put it on the tart burner. It works great! Image Attachment(s):

I don't use those types of candles, but I think pretty much all glass is recyclable.
To get the extra wax out, put the candle in the freezer (without the lid if it has one). That should make the wax shrink, and then you can turn it over & tap the bottom & it should come out. You might need to loosen it a little on the inside with a knife, but I do this all the time for non-disposable candle holders.
