another Tulip question
So once the stems begin to wilt and you cut them before the soil can you plant other annuals in that area? So put impatients there after the tulips are gone? Will that effect if the tulips grow again the next year?

if you wait a bit more you can pull the entire stem out and it will separate from the bulb. Then it's not disturbed and will re-bloom next year :)

you want to make sure the bloom is totally gone...that sends the bulb energy/nutrients for next year.
