spinoff to when do you pack
When you move, do you take your clothing out of the dresser and put into boxes for the move or do you leave everything inside the drawers?
sorry if this is an incredibly dumb question.

clothes in drawers you pack. anything on hangers you leave. movers have closet boxes they bring.

If I'm moving stuff myself, I take clothes out of the drawers and pack them separately. If I have movers, I leave stuff in the drawers.

we moved ourselves and put all of our clothes that we had in drawers in big garbage bags. all the clothes we had hanging up, we left on the hangers and just threw them in our cars so it was easy to hang up once we got to the new house.

When we moved we moved ourselves too and moved everything on the hangers. stuff from the drawers were thrown in my suitcases and I filled up my laundry baskets, then I filled plastic bags.

Ok so it looks like if you use a moving company you can leave it in the drawers, if doing it yourself then take it out.
I am using a company, and I feel so dumb asking these people this question. But I feel completely normal asking you guys!

I put whatever would fit into my luggage. I might have just carried the stuff on hangers.
