Teacher Appreciation Week Is Coming Up - Please come in if you send your child to Daycare:)

My DD has two teachers, she started this class in January and will be leaving it in June. She goes two days/week. Would you give $25 or $50 to her two teachers?

For Provider Appreciation Day we hand out roses to everyone.

If you are giving money I would go with $25 each.

It's usually the Fri before mother's day.

DS was part time 2x a week last year and I baked cookies (I was the only mom in his class that sent something in).

This year, I'm not sure what I'm going to do - he has numerous teachers throughout the day and week so I think I may just bake cookies again as to not leave anyone out. I may do flowers though instead because they are having muffins for moms that afternoon so it might be a lot of food.

Im buying my kids teachers lunch ( will pay for what they order) for the day and bringing a small gift for their past teachers and floaters.

I'd go with 25 each.

last year i sent in an edible arrangement of roses for the staff. this year i think im going to send in cake pops or something cute for them. I'd rather not spend $50 or more on gifts. Ds is there 2days a week.

I dont even know all the floater or part time helpers yet.


Any sugestions onwhat I shoud do? whats the norm? I tend to always do much for things like this

its all week... Our PTA for AJ's montessori school has this planned:

Monday: "Apple for the Teacher" - Veronica will bring apple pies and we will ask the children to make cards / write notes, and decorate them in the apple theme
Tueady: "Sit Back and Relax" - 10 minutes massages sponsored by PTA
Wednesday: "Shower with Flowers - Ask children to make or bring flowers, plant or seeds, anything floral / flower themed
Thursday: "Our teachers are sweet" - Bring fruit or candy
Friday: "I appreciate you" - Write a poem or story, make a card, bring a gift, child's choice to show their appreciation.



Yeah, that's Me on Monday I'm baking 18 personal sized Apple Pies. My sunday is booked people!

Same here.... plus my DS will only be there until the end of June for this year. I think I will get them either cake pops, bagels or donuts. Im going to ask them if they drink coffee and maybe get them the food and a box of joe or something. I am a teacher and I like when students/ parents show their appreciation to me and my work.

We give $25 gift cards to each teacher (DD has 2 and DS has 2) along with a card.

We also give to the floaters, but I think we will skip it because there seem to be so many of them these days.
