Talk to me about Clomid

Were you sucessful on it? how many cycles did you use it before getting a BFP. tell me anything you know about it please and if you can share what your IF issue was. i would greatly appreciate any help!

I am in the 2ww of my first Clomid/IUI cycle. It worked in that I had 2 nice size follies but we think it is the cause of my lining being very thin. If we don't get a BFP this cycle we will be moving onto a different drug.

I took Clomid for 5 cycles, and although it did not result in a BFP it did help regulate my cycles and ovulate. I do not ovulate every month and my cycles were all over the place. I did produce follies and ovulated regularly, so that greatly increases chances of conception. I hope this works for you!

50 mg clomid just one time and got my BFP on easter. Got my second beta done today and they sched my sono for may 9th!!!

ETA: i wasnt ovulating and had cycles that were42-60+days!! good luck!!

i have PCOS and do not ovulate. I tried clomid but had a bad reaction to it so was not allowed to continue with it

I took clomid w/ iui for four cycles. I responded well to it unfortunately, I never got a bfp land have moved on to ivf.

We are dealing with mf issues

I did 2 IUI's with 100mg of Clomid. Neither worked.

I ovulate on my own all it did for me was produce more follies but never resulted in a BFP.

i responded really well to clomid, always had 3-4 follicles. i was successful on my first round but it was ectopic due to a bad tube. never got another BFP and had to move on.

i ovulate on my own. diagnosis was tubal factor and minimal endo.

First month- 100mg clomid and iui- not pregnant. Had a 40mm follie so 100mg was obviously too much

Second month: 50 mg- chemical, but most likely due to a whole different issue (NK).

They say it can give you hot flashes or night sweats. I woke up sweating some nights but figured I was just hot. It happened to me on Femara too though so it could have been a side effect. Nothing too bad though. It made me moody(er than usual ). It also thinned my lining from 7.5 to 6 the 2nd month.

I'm on Femara this month and my lining was 11mm.

If you could, I'd try Femara.

Tara, I conceived all my kids with clomid/IUI. J&M were my 5th clomid cycle, and my second clomid/IUI cycle. I conceived on my first clomid/IUI cycle, but miscarried. This was 150mg of clomid. J&M there were three follies, obviously 2 of them took.
When we went back to the RE for #3, I conceived A on my first cycle (clomid/IUI). They started me on 100mg to reduce my chance of multiples again. There was only one follie and I thought there was no chance I'd get pregnant, but now that follie is 7 week old baby A!

ETA: I have PCOS - don't ovulate on my own.

i did 5 rounds of clomid and never really responded so we moved to femarathen everntually onto femara and injectables

only side effect i ever had on clomid was hot flashes
