Your OB does it at the hospital. My DS was done the morning that I was discharged.

I was told it depends on your ped. My OB said she usually does it but some peds prefer to do it. The ped I chose will be doing it.

The OB (either yours or the one on call) does it at the hospital. I was told that it is because circumcision is technically a surgery, and pediatricians are not surgeons, but OBs are. HTH!

On the advice of some friends, I called a pediatric urologist ahead of time to.
On the day I delivered they asked who I wanted to do it and I gave his name-they called him and he came before we were discharged.
I wanted someone really skilled to do it. Worked out great.

Yes my OB did DS. I was told the same thing from my OB and ped.
