exhaustion has set in, what can I do?

I'm literally falling asleep at my desk. I will have my 1 cup of caffeine at lunch hoping it helps me get thru the day but I'm shot. I'm dragging. I have been going to bed early but its not helping.

Any advice?

unfortunately, I never found anything that helped. at 12 weeks I am still exhausted, but starting to feel a little bit more energy during the day. Just hang in there...it will get better!

I find staying hydrated gives me some temporary energy.. also eating frequently gives me a boost.

I found there was nothing I could do to alleviate the exhaustion. I was a zombie for the first trimester, I just tried to sleep as much as possible - which isn't always easy.

It gets better though. I found a little caffiene and some fruit/fruit juice helped give me a *little* boost when I needed it.

Hang in there. It will get better. Your body is going through so many changes and your hormones are just plain exhausting you right now. Sleep as much as possible, and hopefully your coworker will understand.

I am on my feet for 12.5 hr shifts and felt like death some days. On my days off I would only wake up to eat or go to the bathroom.

But at 12 weeks I was perking up and by 14 weeks I was good again. Although I still haven't gotten my energy back 100%, maybe 90%. I def still need to sneak in a nap around 3pm on my days off!

Unfortunately, there wasn't much I could do (or can do now) to alleviate the exhaustion. I tried to get up from desk every hour or so and just take a lap around my floor so I can stay awake.
