Sheets - thread count
What thread count do you prefer? I know the higher the better, but then again I don't know if the more expensives sheets are that much more worth it.

I like 500+ the best. I have only gone as high as 600 and they were good too but it really depends on the sheet. I like the sateen.

Also, a high thread count doesn't mean much if it's a bad cotton. You want Egyptian cotton or a Pima cotton if you want soft sheets.

Exactly. I have 600+ thread count sheets that were and I HATE them. They are so stiff and totally not worth it.
