Mattress from Macy's ?
how was your experience? which brand did you buy - are you happy with it?

we recently bought one (~3-4 months ago) when they had a pretty big sale. They were great to deal with.
We went with a serta, b/c we had just fought with sealy over the warranty for a few years (I saw the guy measure 2.5 inch sag and their report said it was only 3/4"  ) So that ruled out sealy and sterns and foster out of principal... LOL
It's just like dealing with any mattress store (we have also bought from sleepy's and 1800). But macys had a super sale - which I think they do about 4 times a year.
ETA: We did not use the haul away service. The delivery men were supposed to just take it to the curb for garbage pick up. They took it anyway. I'm not sure if one of them decided to take it for their own use, but just an FYI.

My parents bought me one a few years ago (when I was still living at home). I got it during one of their holiday sales (I believe it was a Sealy) and normally very expensive.
We bought the warranty on it, and when the material started fraying they would only replace it with something of equal value to what we paid. Not one of equivalent make-so just be careful. We wound up having to lay out extra money to get a decent replacement.

I was extremely happy with my service from Macys. My parents had a horrible experience with Sleepys so we stuck with Macys. Our salesman was great and the delivery crew was very careful and extremely helpful. Very happy with my best so far! Its a Serta.

My experience was great, just not happy with my mattress. Its the Simmons Black collection. It was really expensive and its pillow top. It completely sags after a year.
This week they have F&F where you can save 10%, but I believe if you wait till Memorial day when they have their LPOS (lowest prices of season) you can do better. I would definitely talk to a salesman, they want your business and are willing to tell you the best time to buy.

We just got the Simmons Black Label from Macys in firm. LOVE it after 2 days!!! I haven't woken up with a sore back, it's so nice!
